Bull Case

Malaysia has many high-quality companies, and as a result, this fund is less volatile relative to other single-country emerging-markets funds.
Many of the companies in this fund have operations in some of the faster-growing markets in the region, such as China and Vietnam.
Unlike many single-country, emerging-markets index funds, this ETF is not that concentrated and has a low exposure to government-controlled entities. Read more 

Bear Case

Household debt (dominated by loans for properties and cars) hit an all time high of 87% of GDP in 2013, thanks in part to low interest rates over the last few years. An eventual rise in rates will likely temper this driver of domestic growth, as well as strain the domestic consumer.
The government's effort to address its rising fiscal deficit could temper domestic consumption in the near term. Read more
